Good afternoon everyone. A quick note to remind everyone that the Grading is tonight in the BB Hall, Lochee. There will be another Grading on Saturday morning at the Whitfield Club, starting at 10.00am and finishing at 12.00 for everyone.

Can Miss Kane please have the names of all the children going to the Christmas Party on the 21st as soon as possible as Santa Clause needs to know so he can bring each child a Christmas Prezzie.

Good morning everyone, MrC here. The last Grading of the year is on 14th December in the BB Hall, Lochee. All students are expected to grade, especially if you missed the last one. There will be a second Grading at Whitfield on the 16th for those students who can't make the Thursday Grading. Please do not buy softgear that is not STF approved, we can only use softgear approved by our Insurance providers. Please see MrC or Miss Kane for details.

October Holiday Arrangements

Hello everyone, letting you know that the Tuesday class in Lochee will be closed during the school holidays and will recommence the week the schools go back. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday classes will be on as usual and you are very welcome to train at any class. Can you let everyone you know that trains about these arrangements please in case they don't see this message. You will be taught all aspects of Taekwondo within your grade by Instructors who have trained with some of the greatest Grand Masters in the world. We have travelled the world to learn new skills and improve our knowledge of this wonderful and exciting martial art..


Our Instructors have trained and taught for well over twenty years and all have SCRO disclosure check certificates. We have amongst us Scottish, British, European and World Champions in Patterns, Sparring and Power Breaking.
Those are our proven credentials, second to none. There is so much more but rather than write screeds come and experience it for yourself.

Hello everyone, Mr Cahill here. As you know the Pan European Championships are coming to Dundee very soon, 30th June, 1st and 2nd July. Master Swift and myself are co-hosting this event and we have been working tirelessly for many months to make this a spectacular event for us all. There are teams travelling from all over to come to our City and compete at the DISC and as such I'm asking you to support us by competing or coming to spectate. Every Dundee Wildcats student should grab the opportunity to compete and everyone's more than capable of doing well. So don't let me down, I'd really like to see you there. Get your family and friends to come and spectate. This chance might not come to Dundee again so see me for tickets and as you know every Dundee Wildcat student and immediate family are getting in to every event half price.

Entry Forms, Spectators and Buffet Disco Dance

Hello everyone, typical Scottish weather, lol. Squad training will be this Saturday at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.We will leave the BB Hall, at 12.30 as training is from 2.00 to 4.00pm. Get home for most of the match.

All students have been given a Pan European Taekwondo Championships entry form. On the form are the divisions you will be competing in, weekend passes, spectator and Buffet Disco Dance tickets.Please get them back to me as putting this Competition on is a very large logistic undertaking and I need to collate all the information asap.

As you can see most things are half price for our students and immediate family. This is possible because of all your hard work in collecting donations via the Bridge Walk, Quiz Night, Car Boot Sale and many other events.Great effort and thank you all so much. Any money left over will be split between everyone.

Master Swift and I have spent many months putting this Competition together and I would ask that everyone compete and come to support our Scotland Team on the Friday and each other throughout the weekend. It's up to us to welcome all the competitors from other countries to Dundee and show them our inimitable hospitality.

Please get your entry forms, disco and spectator details to me as quickly as you can.

Training will be this Saturday 13th May in Fife at the Glenrothes Martial Arts Centre, Woolmill Road, Glenrothes, KY7 5RF. Training starts at 2.00pm so we will be meeting at the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee and leaving there at 12.45.

Squad Training Now Weekly

Brilliant training session yesterday, so proud of you all. The teams are beginning to look really sharp and if we keep on top of everything we'll peak right at the beginning of the Pan European Championships.

Our next training session will be next Saturday 13th May and will be in Fife....venue and time to be announced.

Everyone is competing for a place in the International Scotland Squad so work hard and don't take your foot off the gas.

Hope you have all enjoyed the Easter Break.

All classes return to normal as of 18th April.

Time to start some serious training for the Pan European Championships. 

The next Scotland Squad Training will be held this Sunday the 23rd April at Queen Margaret University, Musselburgh, EH12 6UU from 1.00pm until 3.00pm. Please meet at the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee at 11.15am.

Please note. If for any reason you are unable to train at any time it is courtesy to inform your instructor via phone text or email your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Easter Holidays and Scotland Squad Details

Dear Student Parent/Guardian,

Easter Holidays are as follows.                                                                                                                     

There will be no classes on Tuesday’s Lochee  and Wednesday’s Charleston during the School Holidays.

Classes open are as follows

Wednesday Douglas, Thursday Lochee and Saturday Whitfield. 

All classes return to normal when the schools return.

The next Scotland Squad session takes place on Sunday 9th of April in Glenrothes and it will take on a different format. There will be 2 x 2 hour sessions.

The first session takes place at 10am-12pm and is for the following teams: 

Under 11 years, 12-14 boys and 12-14 girls.

The next session takes place at 12pm-2pm and is for the following teams:

15-17yrs boys and girls, Men, Ladies, veteran men and veteran ladies.

The venue is Glenrothes Martial Arts Centre, Woodmill Road, Glenrothes, KY7 5RF

Grading 30th March Lochee.

Lochee B B Hall Bright Street, Thursday 30th March commencing at 6.00pm or if you cannot make the Thursday Grading Mr C will grade you at the  Whitfield Class on Saturday 1st April commencing at 10.00am.

Note there will be the usual training session before the  grading at 4.30pm usual fee applies (bring a packed lunch or snack).

All students need to be licensed to grade so please check your expiry date.                                         

New Students apply A S A P…remember your sparring gear. If you don’t have sparring gear it can be purchased via your Instructor only as no other sparring gear will be permitted unless STF approved.

Wildcats Interclub Competition

Lets make this one as successful as this one.

Good morning everyone, I hope this finds you well.

The next Dundee Wildcats Interclub Competition is being held this Sunday 19th March in the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee. Hall opens at 9.30am for start at 10.00am.

Please come along and support each other. This will be a friendly competition with a serious intention. I would like you all to get experience of competing at a Competition to ensure you know exactly what the Pan European Championships will be like in June/July this year.

We'll make this a fun day with all kinds of disciplines, eg. Baton Battle, Tag Chasing, Long and High Pad Kicking and much much more.

One of our Mum's is running a Tombola to gather Club funds to help keep the costs of your entry into the Pan Europeans to a minimum.

All spectators are very welcome. If you haven't paid your entry fee it's okay, that can be done on the day.

Hope to see you there. You are all winners.  

Next Scotland Squad Training Session...Edinburgh

Just a reminder that the next squad session is on Sunday (12th March) at Oriam Sports Hall, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, EH14 4AS.

The session starts at 10.00am and will finish at 12.00 noon.

Meet at BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee at 08.00am. If you need a lift we'll get you there and back so come along you'll love it and if you train really hard you may get picked to represent your country. 

If you have a Scotland T shirt wear that and white dobok bottoms. If not white dobok please. Dont forget your belt and soft gear.

Scottish Squad Training

Scottish Squad Training for everyone 8 years of age and over is on this Saturday 11th February in the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee starting at 1.00pm until 3.00pm.

Everyone is eligible to try out for Team Scotland, cost £2.00p to cover the cost of the hall rental.

It's a great honour to compete for your Country so come along and try your best. The Pan European Championships are being held in the DISC from 30th June until 2nd July so you have plenty time to get your skills honed to perfection.

We are holding 2 Inter-Club Competitions before July so this training will help you at these Competitions too.
