If you don’t have sparring gear it can be purchased via your Instructor only as no other sparring gear will be permitted unless STF approved.

Blackbelt Camp and Grading Itinerary

Here it is folks the Itinerary for the Blackbelt Camp and Grading weekend. Please familiarise yourself with it and see me if you have any enquiries. 

We're all training hard I know but I want a real final push so we all peak the weekend of the Camp.

Must say it looks absolutely fantastic. Going to be an amazing experience for us all.  Going to meet and train with old friends and make new friends. Cannot wait.

Halloween Mayhem

What a scary bunch lol.

So very proud of everyone who made Saturdays Halloween Party and 24 hour training session such a roaring scary success. Couldn't choose a best costume as they were all fantastic. You kids did soooooooooo well. You all did 2000 pad punches and the juniors and adults did 1000 patterns over and above. Your special techniques were spectacularand the wooden power breaking was brilliant. Your apple dooking was a hoot. Many thanks and congratulations to you all. So proud and grateful to all the Mums, Dads, Grannies, Grandads and relations who helped by bringing food etc. Roll on Christmas and we'll have another party. 

Halloween Party and 24 Hour Training Session

Mr C acting daft at the last Halloween Party. He'll be worse this time.

C'mon folks get into the spirit of it and have a good laugh. We're trying to raise money to help our students attend the ITS Blackbelt Camp and Grading in November. 

Those students Grading and those training will complete 24 hours of Patterns, Power Breaking, Pad Drills etc. from 2.00am Saturday 29th October until 2.00pm Sunday 30th to raise funds for our venture.

There will be a Halloween Party from 3.00pm until 5.00pm on Saturday 29th so come along in scary dress and have some fun, games, music, dancing, raffles and dooking for apples.  Kids will be doing patterns and destruction to fulfil their committment to sponsorship.

24 hour Marathon Training session/ Halloween Party being held in the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee on the 29th October....Tickets £3.

Cherry Barker has really surpassed herself by having a cake sale at work. 

Come along and help us make this day a success. We would like to see everyone including Mums and Dads, Grannies, Granda etc  join in the fun and come in fancy dress if they can.

If you can donate anything for raffles that would be greatly appreciated

Also all you budding bakers or food enthusiast who could help with the buffet would be of benefit to as we are all training for 24 hours during the course of the day and every bit of assistance is welcomed.

Black Belt Camp

We have been invited to attend the 2016 Black Belt Camp hosted by Master Swift and being held in Worcester in a beautiful 5 star Tudor Hotel on 26th and 27th November. This camp will incorporate Seminars being given by World Masters from many countries and a Black Belt Testing, Dinner dance and Disco on Saturday night. 

We have 1st Gup students who will be testing for 1st Dan and 1st Dan students testing for 2nd Dan. As you all know I tested for my 5th Dan in June and believe me I'm still getting over it. Took a whole week of intense training, teaching and testing but it was an amazing experience and so worth it.

We need to start now collecting funds for our trip down south. All students will be asked to participate in our endeavours. You will all be given a sponsor form so please help us to make this trip as cost effectively as possible.

All high grade adults and juniors have agreed to do a 24 hour sponsored training and 1000 board break. Some have decided to do 1000 patterns. Date to be announced. 4 to 7 year olds can do a 200 board break or patterns. 8 to 11 year olds can do a 500 board break or 500 patterns.

Lets make this as fun and successful as we can. If anyone has any ideas for fundraising or would like to help please get in touch with Mr C or Miss Kane. Thank you for your support in advance.

There is an exciting upcoming event which you are all invited to compete in. The Pan European Taekwon Do Championships are being hosted by the ITS in the DISC on 1st July 2017. More info to come....watch this space.

Summer Holiday Arrangements

Classes open during the Summer Holidays are as follows:- Wednesday Douglas; Thursday Lochee, Saturday Whitfield.

Tuesday Lochee closed until 16th August when schools return. 

Wednesday Charleston closed from Dundee Holiday fortnight until 17th August. 

All classes will close during the Dundee Holiday Fortnight  from Saturday 23rd July until Thursday 11th August.

All classes will return to normal from Tuesday 16th August.

Grading Date, Bridge Walk and 5th Dan

Hi folks, hope you are all remembering that you are Grading this Thursday 30th June. It's in the BB Hall, Lochee on 30th June but if you can't make it you can Grade at Whitfield on Saturday 2nd July.

Thank you all for turning out for the Bridgewalk on Sunday. It was a great success.

Day out to remember

Lamborghini...brilliant drive, 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds, then whoooooshhhh.

Ferrari....oh yessssss, 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds, amazing drive, catch me if you can. I want one...NOW.

Coming into land cos this motor would take off if it had wings.

Round the racetrack with a professional racing driver in the Atom, 150mph no problem. Loved it.

Spent a day at Ingliston Racetrack and drove a Lamborghini and a Ferrari then round the track as a passenger in an Atom. Pedal to the metal. What a rush. I'm going back for the Porsche and the Aston Martin Vanquish....yeehaaahhhhhh.

Easter School Holiday Classes

Hi folks, here are the arrangements for the Easter School Holidays. 

Tuesday Lochee and Wednesday Douglas and Charleston classes will be closed from this week and will recommence the week when schools go back, ie. closed until 18th Lochee and 19th Douglas and Charleston. 

Have a nice holiday if you're going away but you can still train at Lochee Thursday and Whitfield Saturday morning.

Oh and remember your Grading on Thursday 31st at Lochee or Saturday 2nd at Whitfield.

Wildcats Interclub Competition.

Mr C has competed all over the World and has won Scottish, British, European and World Titles. Now it's your turn. Train hard and fight easy as a Blackbelt is a Whitebelt who never gave up.

Calling all Dundee Wildcat Students. Come one come all. 

You are all cordially invited to compete in our upcoming STF Inter-Club Competition which will be held in the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee on Sunday 20th of March. 

Your Instructor will give you all the information you need and an Entry Form at class this week. 

If this one is half as successful as the previous ones it'll be amazing. Going to be so good, can't wait.

We will be making a donation to the Dundee Foodbank from the proceedings. This will be our fourth donation so thank you everyone in advance.
