Santa's Coming to Lochee

Hi folks.

It's not too late to get your ticket for the Christmas Party.

Santa's coming to the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee on Thursday 23rd between 6.00 and 7.30.

Your wee brothers, sisters, cousins, pals etc are very welcome but Miss Kane needs names for Santa's Elves to load up the sleigh.

There will be games, music, dancing, big eats, prizes, raffle, face painting and SANTA CLAUSE will be there too.

Here's all the latest Wildcats News folks and first off I'd like to get all our classes back on track so all Clubs will be open as normal this week......WEATHER PERMITTING.

TABLETOP SALE

The tabletop sale is being held this Saturday 18th December in the BB Hall, Bright Street, Lochee at 10.00am. Yes folks this Saturday. Or is it on Saturday. That's correct it's this Saturday, on Saturday. You can hire a table for £7.00p and sell your own stuff or come along and help us out on Saturday. Hand in any unwanted items you may have at your Club and we'll sell them at the TABLETOP SALE on SATURDAY 18th.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Taekwon Do Kids Christmas Party is being held on Thursday 23rd December 2010 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm in the BB Hall, Lochee. Tickets are only £5.00 and you can bring your brothers, sisters or friends. Tickets from your Instructor.

Roughy Toughy Wildcats

Here they are folks, the roughy toughy Wildcats who braved the ice and snow to sit their Grading tonight in Menzieshill. Take a bow kids, proud of you.

Lets see a good turnout on Saturday at the Grading in Whitfield. Its in the Whitfield Parish Church Hall, Haddington Crescent, and starts at 10am.

BAD NEWS but GOOD NEWS TOO

Here's the latest news folks.

ALL LOCHEE CLUBS and THURSDAYS GRADING have to be cancelled as Bright Street and Tofthill are both a sheet of ice and piled up snow. Tons of snow and ice have fallen off a roof, bringing down slates and pipes and it's a real mess. There are abandoned cars sticking out into the street and the access to the BB Hall is blocked off. It's far too dangerous for you to venture down there.

However, and here's the good news.

Tomorrows Grading in The Menzieshill Neighbourhood Centre, Orleans Place, will go ahead starting at 5.00 o'clock as the staff there have done an amazing job and cleared the access road and the car park.

Anyone who can make it should now Grade tomorrow night in Menzieshill. I'll be there from about 4.30pm.

If you can't make tomorrow night in Menzieshill there will be a Grading in Whitfield Parish Church Hall, Haddington Crescent, Whitfield on Saturday morning starting at 10.00am. The access to there is fine too.

See you at either of these venues...you choose which.

Lets have a good turnout as I don't want to see all the hard work you and your Instructors have put in going to waste.

Can you please inform anyone you know from your Club about these arrangement as not everyone subscribes to the blog. Thanks.

Training and Grading NEWS

Hi folks'

Weathers not so good but there's no point taking it personally as it's snowing on everyone.

Schools are back, workers are working, buses are running, roughy toughy Martial Artists are training.

All classes will be running as normal this week as long as there's no great deterioration in the weather and road conditions. The Menzieshill and Lochee Gradings will go ahead as planned. You all know the details, ie. where and when, but if you've forgotten telephone or text me.

As long as it's safe lets go for it.

NO CLASSES UNTIL 7th DECEMBER

Hi everyone,

Really sorry but Im afraid that all classes are now cancelled until next Tuesday 7th December. That means no class in Whitfield on Saturday too.

Next Wednesday 8th Menzieshill and Thursday 9th Lochee Gradings will still provisionally go ahead.

Hopefully things will be as near back to normal as it can be under the circumstances, can't see it like but we can live in hope.

So wrap up warm, be safe and keep cosy.

Tabletop Sale Cancelled

I'm afraid that due to that white stuff in the picture we can't get out of the village and as it doesn't look like abating in the near fututre we have sadly had to cancel the Tabletop Sale.

There is however some good news.

We have rescheduled it for the 18th December, same time same place.

Gives us all more time to rake out more stuff to sell...."yay"
