Congratulations to our newly promoted Blackbelts.

Here are our newly promoted Blackbelts surrounded by some of their colleagues after an extremely technically and physically demanding Grading held last Saturday. The Grading was supervised by independent examiners  Mr. Ross Fisher of Fife Taekwon Do Group and Mr John Swift, International Examiner from Bromsgrove where he is the Chief Instructor of  Verve Taekwon Do and President of the Independent Taekwon Do Schools. They had nothing but praise for the focus and effort put into the Grading by all the students. Their expertise at their level and obvious dedication shone through. Well done all, your promotion is thoroughly deserved.

Bridge Walk and Gradings

Hi folks, pin back your lugs as here's the latest news.

Annual Bridge Walk
The annual Tay Bridge Walk will take place next Sunday the 3rd of June. Please meet at the Dundee end of the bridge about 10.45am to set off at 11.00am. Some students have asked can they bring their bikes. Kids you can bring your bike, your cat, your dog, your hamster, your Granny and Grandad and remember to bring a packed lunch as we stop for a bite to eat when we get over to Fife.

Please bring your sponsor forms and money collected. It all goes to Club funds. It cost us about £800 from Club funds to attend the British Championships in Kidderminster but boy o boy was it worth it. 2 new British Champions in our Dojang and 23 trophys hard fought for and won by your fellow students.

If you can't make it on Sunday and you've collected money you can do it at anytime. As long as you do it.
Come along and have a laugh, it's a real fun day.

Gerry's Heroes

Check the Events Page folks for the latest announcements...thanks.

Congratulations All Round from the STF

Six of our Dundee Wildcats Taekwon Do Academy students did an 800 mile round trip to Kidderminster at the weekend to compete in the British Championships. They arrived at their Hotel the night before and went straight out into the carpark in the rain to train then like the famous Alf Tupper the Tough of the Track they had fish suppers for tea.

The Competition itself was keenly contested by teams from all over the UK and John and Emma Swift and their team of officials must be congratulated for the professional Competition they put on.

As you can see by the impressive display on the table our Dundee students did extremely well against top opposition winning a total of 23 trophys between them and adding two new British Champions to our ranks. Very well done.
